Developed by Uppercut Games, City of Brass aims to deliver something different from the usual first person shooters of today.
For starters, it is less a shooter, and more a first person adventure, and comes with some serious developer pedigree. Several members of the team worked on both Bioshock, and Bioshock 2.
Become a daring thief in a punishing, procedurally generated quest filled with treasure, traps and ghoulish foes. Armed with scimitar and a versatile whip, players must lash and slash, trick and trap their way to the heart of an opulent, ancient metropolis before the sands of time run out.
The game produces procedurally generated worlds for the player to beat, with the main aim being to successfully make it to the centre of the an Arabian themed city. The game is currently looking gorgeous, running on the Unreal Engine 4, and is packed with visually stunning landscapes and impressive, immersive, lighting effects.
The game releases on Playstation 4, and Xbox One on the 4th May 2018. For now, you can gaze at the newly released screenshots and the stunning release date trailer.
