Several directors have been courted over the proposition of taking over directorial duties on Bond 25, but it appears that the producers now have their man.
Danny Boyle himself, has confirmed that he will be the latest director to sit in the directors chair on a Bond movie.
As well as confirming his directing duties, Boyle has also said that he is working on a script "right now."
At the launch of his latest TV series, Trust, he mentioned that he will be penning the script with John Hodge, who he has worked with before on both Trainspotting films.
The movie is likely to be the last starring Daniel Craig as the titular hero.
“We’ve got an idea, John Hodge, the screenwriter, and I have got this idea, and John is writing it at the moment. “It all depends on how it turns out. It would be foolish of me to give any of it away.” Said Boyle.
It is likely, as Boyle has mentioned, that the film would begin production at the end of the year.
