Years ago Activision altered their 2 year development cycle for the Call Of Duty series to a 3 year cycle.
This new strategy brought Sledgehammer Studios into the fold and following 2017's return to a more historical setting by themselves, this years instalment is created by Treyarch Studios and is reported to be Black Ops 4.
As reported by Eurogamer, the game will return to a more grounded feel following the more sci-fi focused entries of Black Ops 3 and Infinite Warfare.
A Switch version is also rumoured to be on the cards.
The game is likely to release in late October or early November this year.
