For many, Shenmue 3 is a game they have been waiting too long for. The delay to the game from the 4th quarter of 2017 for a full 12 months came like a sledgehammer.
But following on from the underwhelming first trailer, where many were concerned regarding the lack of facial animation, it was clear that more time was needed for the legend that is Yu Suzuki to fine tune the game.
At MAGIC 2018 in Monaco, an event that is organised by Cédric Biscay, who is also co-producer of Shenmue III, Suzuki showed off 4 new screenshots of the game that you can find below.
Shenmue 3 is scheduled to release in the 4th quarter of this year exclusively on the Playstation 4.
What do you think to the new screenshots? It is clear that more work has been done on the oomph of the games graphical style, Shenmue 3 uses Unreal Engine 4, but do you think it is enough, and that the extra time has been well spent?
